A man named Sloan (Glenn Corbett) is tortured and killed on a ship. His killers are Russians who were questioning him looking for an unidentified list. They use truth serum, but all Sloan talks about is that the list is with two million dollars. To cover Sloan’s murder, they put a venomous spider on him. Jonathan Chase (Simon MacCorkindale) is asked for his advice on the case. Jonathan doesn’t believe the spider is responsible for Sloan’s death.
While Jonathan and Brooke (Melody Anderson) are still at the scene, Sloan’s daughter, Terry (Mary-Margaret Humes) shows up. Once they get her calmed down Terry reveals that her father sent her a letter. In it was a hundred-dollar bill, a key to a safety deposit box at a Bahamian bank, a one-way ticket to Nassau, and a note that says that are two million more where that came from.
When they get to the Nassau hotel, they run into Sloan’s partner Arnold Sypes (Doug McClure). At dinner that night he tells Chase that Sloan was in some kind of trouble and embezzled from the company. The next day Chase and Terry go to the bank. They find a briefcase with the two million in it. They also find some Russians. The Russians are not interested in the money but in the illusive list.
Chase, Brooke and Ty must unravel a tale of spies and lies to find the list and figure out what it means before the Russians get their hands on it.
Chase transforms into a panther twice, once on camera and once off camera and off camera as a parrot. In his home laboratory Chase has a camel in a glassed enclosure.
