“Clue Club” was created by Warner Brothers in conjunction with Black Mask Magazine to increase audience attendance for its crime and mystery films. Twelve films were selected to be in the “Clue Club” promotion. These films were released from 1935-38. The “Clue Club” logo was shown in the opening credits and its trailer. Young people were encouraged to attend the movies and could win prizes by filling out special cards.
